Coyotes Youth Hockey Continues to Roll

The Clark County Coyotes continued to roll this weekend with wins over Marathon County Squirt C Black and Gold on Saturday and two wins against Marshfield Squirt B on Sunday.

Saturday in Wausau Game 1 vs Marathon County Squirt Gold. Coyotes started out slow, but took the lead early, only to have the game tied in the second 3-3. The Coyotes' offense livened up the in the 3rd period and came out on top, winning 8-3. Four different skaters putting up points and 3 skaters with assists. Sam Hayes earned a Hat Trick for 3 goals in a game.

Game 2 vs. Marathon County Squirt Black, the Coyotes continued to roll with a 6-0 victory. Sydney Magnuson was between the pipes as goalie and earned a shutout. Five different skaters put up points, with 2 skaters with assists.

Sunday, the Coyotes took on the Marshfield Blades in a double header. In game 1, the Coyotes started out slow, but soon found the "on" button and turned up the heat. Final score 9-4 with 5 different skaters putting up goals. Courtney Magnuson and Sam Hayes both earned Hat Tricks.

Game 2 ended with a final score 7-1 in favor of the Coyotes, with 7 skaters putting up points.

The Coyotes' next game is against Mosinee on December 27th, in Mosinee.

Clark County Youth Hockey also invites our community to come out in Mid-January for a pair of tournaments featuring teams from all over the state including Cumberland, Sparta, Oshkosh, Waukesha, DC Everest, Dodgeville, LaCrosse, Mosinee, and LaCresent, MN.
