Neillsville Girls Win 5th Straight

The Neillsville girls basketball team won their 5th in a row downing Greenwood on Thursday night 64-26.The Warriors (6-2, 4-1) were in control from the start getting out to a 36-12 halftime lead. Kayla Lis scored 12 first half points and Dani Pfieffer added 10.
Neillsville outscored Greenwood (1-5, 1-3) in the second half 28-14, led by Mindy Schoengarth's 8 points. The Warriors finished with 3 players in double figures led by Lis with 17, Pfieffer with 12 and Schoengarth added 10.
Kaylee Learman led Greenwood with 10 points.
Neillsville will be at Mfld Columbus on Tuesday night while Greenwood travels to Colby.
