Neillsville Boys Fall To Columbus Catholic On The Road

The Neillsville Warrior boys basketball team lost to Columbus Catholic on the road Tuesday night 82-68.The Warriors (3-3, 3-1) led at halftime 37-34 with Adam Schmidt leading way with 12 points. But in the second half it was all Dons as they outscored the Warriors 48-31 for the win.
Tyler Fuerlinger had the hot hand for Columbus Catholic (6-0, 3-0) in the second half scoring all 16 of his points during that time. Hunter Schultz had 12 of his game high 22 in the second half for the Dons.
Evan Nikolai also scored in double figures for Columbus Catholic with 17 points.
Neillsville had four players in double figures led by Michael Dux with 20 points. Jake Kunze and Schmidt had 16 and Jaheen Kilgore-McGeen added 12.
Neillsville will host Spencer next Tuesday night at the Fieldhouse in Neillsville.
