Opelt Ranked 9th In Division III

Cornell College junior Phillip Opelt of Neillsville is ranked 9th at 133 pounds in the latest NWCA Division III rankings.Opelt is currently 8-4 on the season and is one of 3 Rams to be listed in the individual rankings.
As a team, Cornell College made a big move to No. 8 in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Team Poll released Wednesday. This is the highest NWCA ranking in nearly four years for Coach Mike Duroe's program, which was rated fifth on Dec. 13, 2011. The Rams jumped 11 spots since the last poll came out in mid-November.
