Voigt Has 11 In Blugold Loss

UW-Eau Claire Junior Alleah Voigt of Neillsville had 11 points and 5 rebounds in a 71-69 loss to No. 24 Luther College on Wednesday night.Voigt made her first start of the season and played 30 minutes for the Blugolds, going 3 for 3 from the freethrow line and 4 of 8 from the field. She also had 1 assist in the game.
Alleah made a couple of field goals and a two free throws late in the game to keep the game close.
After the game, Voigt told the Leader Telegram "We have some good bigs that stepped up tonight, We just have to put it all together so that we can win some games."
The Blugolds will host North Central (Ill) this Saturday at Zorn Arena.
