WIAC Volleyball Teams Playing For A "Cause"

For the eighth straight year, the eight WIAC women's volleyball teams will participate in promotions to support a "cause".Each team will be involved in at least one promotional event throughout the months of September and October. Various promotional activities will take place at each match to raise awareness and funds for the "cause" being supported.
Over the past seven seasons, the women's volleyball teams in the conference have contributed $143,341 towards worthwhile "causes".
The eight matches that will have the "Playing For A Cause" theme: UW-Oshkosh at UW-Platteville (Sept. 30) (Cancer Awareness); UW-Eau Claire at UW-Stevens Point (Oct. 7) (Alzheimer's Awareness); UW-La Crosse at UW-Oshkosh (Oct. 7) (Take Down Cancer); UW-Stevens Point at UW-La Crosse (Oct. 9) (Dig Pink); UW-Whitewater at UW-Stout (Oct. 9) (Breast Cancer Awareness); UW-La Crosse at UW-River Falls (Oct. 21) (Cancer Awareness); UW-Platteville at UW-Whitewater (Oct. 21) (Breast Cancer Awareness); and UW-Stout at UW-Eau Claire (Oct. 21) (Breast Cancer Awareness).
