Assumption's Jeff Sullivan Selected Packers Coach Of The Week

The Green Bay Packers have announced Jeff Sullivan of Assumption High School in Wisconsin Rapids has been named the Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Week.Sullivan, in his fourth year as the head coach of the Assumption football program, led the Royals to a 32-6 victory over conference rival Athens High School and snapped a seven-year losing streak to the Bluejays, while improving their season record to 3-1. Sullivan's Royals will now travel to Gilman to take on the 0-4 Pirates.
Sullivan began his coaching career as an assistant for UW-River Falls in 1993. After coaching stops at Bay Port and Lincoln, Sullivan accepted the offensive coordinator position at Assumption, which he held from 2003-2007. He spent a year coaching at the youth level in 2008 and three seasons at Port Edwards High School before returning to Assumption as the head coach in 2012.
The Packers will recognize one outstanding high school coach as their 'Coach of the Week' winner during the 2015 high school football season. Winners are awarded several items and privileges, including a $1,000 donation to the school's football program from the Green Bay Packers and the NFL Foundation, as well as recognition of the award on Packers.com, Wissports.net and Wifca.org.
