Neillsville Volleyball Wins Triangular

The Neillsville girls volleyball team beat both Eleva-Strum and Augusta to win their own triangular on Tuesday night at the Fieldhouse.Game 1: Neillsville vs. Eleva-Strum. Neillsville won 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-20)
Top players: Jocelyn Thur (10 kills, 6 good attacks, 3 blocks), Morgan Hauge (10 kills, 9 good attacks) Mindy Schoengarth (11 assists,3 kills), Lexi Opelt (9 assists)
Head coach Tia Opelt commented on that first match saying "Our serving hurt us, they got a lot of points off of our missed serves."
Game 2: Neillsville vs Augusta. Neillsville won 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-23)
Top players: Jocelyn Thur (6 kills, 5 blocks), Ashlee Diestler (6 kills, 10 digs), Dani Pfeiffer (5 kills, 8 blocks, 11 digs) Mindy Schoengarth (10 assists, 2 kills, 3 blocks), Lexi Opelt (12 assists)
Coach Opelt said afterwards "I was happy with our passers this game. We had good passes up to our setters. Our serving still could be better."
Neillsville will host Wisconsin Rapids Assumption next Tuesday at the Fieldhouse.
