Opelt Named Neillsville Volleyball Coach

Tia Opelt was officially accepted as the new head varsity girls volleyball coach at the Neillsville School Board Meeting on Monday.Opelt is a 2010 graduate of Neillsville High School and she graduated from Winona St. University in 2014. Tia takes over for long-time head coach Tammy Matson, who she played for during her high school career.
Tabitha Huth was named as the JV girls volleyball coach and Ms. Conners and Ms. Lansing, new teachers in the district, will co-coach the C-Team.
Neillsville will have a scrimmage on Saturday morning at the Fieldhouse with Black River Falls, Pittsville, and Stanley-Boyd. Their first regular season match will be on Tuesday, August 25th when they host a triangular.
