Boys T-Ball Awards Ceremony Held

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their annual T-Ball Awards Picnic on Wednesday, July 15th at the school softball diamonds.All boys who participated in the program received certificates. Teams and their honored players included:
Wolverines: Andrew & Adam Hoeser, Chase Uptergrove, Vaughn Seif, Andrew Blum and Justin Zhu
Bulldogs: Austin Boon, Kaiden Hartung, Ryan Magnuson, Easton Johnson, Hudson Sebesta-Opelt, John Anderson & Kody Szaflarski
Gators: Tucker Johnson, Ethan Miller, Rhett Lamovec, Sebastian O'Keefe, Colter Dillenbeck & Hunter Schultz
Tigers: Blake & Caden Haun, Ridge Tibbett, Rory Hanson, Zac Magnus, Preston Berg, Jesse Gaede, & Gabriel Sheikh
The Neillsville Recreation Department would like to thank the volunteer coaches/instructors of the league, Larry Hoeser, Scott Uptergrove, Scott Hartung, Malinda Johnson, Kent Miller, Roscoe Lamovec, Ryan Dillenbeck, Luke Haun, Jason Tibbett and Travis Berg. The1r dedication and expertise was very much appreciated. The Recreation Department would like to thank Cummins Inc. for purchasing new uniform jerseys for the players.
Following the ceremony ice cream and rootbeer, donated by A&W were enjoyed by all.
T-Ball is a baseball program for boys seven and eight years of age that stresses the fundamentals of the game with very little emphasis on winning and losing.
