Greenwood, Loyal and Spencer Advance To Regional Finals

Eastern Cloverbelt baseball teams Greenwood, Loyal and Spencer all advanced to Regional Finals on Friday with wins on Wednesday.Greenwood, the No. 3 seed, topped 2nd seeded Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran 5-4. The Indians will take on the winner of Owen-Withee and McDonell who play today after getting rained out on Wednesday.
Loyal was a winner over Mfld Columbus 13-1 in 5 innings. The Greyhounds move on to play at Rib Lake on Friday in the Regional Final.
Spencer beat Athens 5-1 to advance to the Regional Final on Friday at Marathon.
