Neillsville Now 14-0 After Win Over Dons

The Neillsville baseball team improved to 14-0 after an 11-1 six inning win over Marshfield Columbus on Friday.Neillsville scored 2 runs in the first and then 5 in the second after Don's pitcher Jeremy Binder hit 4 Warrior batters in the inning. Neillsville scored 2 more in the 4th to go up 9-0 before Marshfield Columbus scored their lone run in the bottom of the 4th.
Neillsville scored a run in the 5th and 6th innings to win 11-1.
Nathan Peterson, Nate McDonald and Jason Kurth were all 2 for 4, while Jake Kunze was 2 for 3 from the plate. Neal Matson went the distance giving up 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 9 and walking 4. Jeremy Binder took the loss for the Dons.
Neillsville is now 11-0 in the ECC and 14-0 overall.
