Neillsville 5th Grade Girls Basketball Team State Bound!

The Neillsville 5th grade girls basketball team will be participating in the State Tournament in Appleton this weekend.The team was invited to play in the State Tournament based on their performance throughout the season in which they were undefeated in Cloverwood play, as well as first and second place finishes in their two Great Northwest tournaments.
Team members are: Amelia Trunkel, Amanda Schneider, Jayden Bymers, Emma Moseley, Rylee Courtney, Kara Oldham, Mackenzie Keller, Heavyn Hainz, Skyler Hart, Ava Mortenson, Kylie Boyer, Courtney Oldham and Kati Mayer.
The team is coached by Ron Trunkel and Tim Voigt.
The Division Three bracket at Appleton includes: Freedom, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, Kewaunee, Kiel, Laconia, Lake Mills, Marshall, Neillsville, Sheboygan Falls, Waupun, West Salem and Wrightstown.
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
Saturday, 9am vs Waupun
Saturday, 11:30am vs Freedom
Saturday, 2pm vs Sheboygan Falls
Quarterfinal games at 4:30pm on Saturday
Semi-Final games at 8:00am on Sunday
Finals at 10:30am on Sunday
