Auburndale, Regis And Stevens Point State Bound

Auburndale, Regis and Stevens Point boys basketball teams are heading to the 100th WIAA State Boys Basketball Championships at the Kohl Center in Madison this Thursday thru Saturday.In Division 4 Sectional Finals on Saturday, Auburndale (19-7) beat Brillion 34-34 at Appleton East, while Regis (26-0) knocked off Unity 61-51 in the Chippewa Falls Sectional final. Auburndale will now play Mineral Point in a State Semi-Final Thursday night at 8:15 pm while Regis will try to knock off defending champion Dominican at 6:35 pm on Thursday night.
In Division 1 on Saturday, Stevens Point (25-1) downed Superior 52-31 in the Wausau West Sectional Final. Stevens Point will now take on West Allis Central in a Division 1 State Semi-Final on Friday night at 6:35 pm.
