Lindner Named To All-Freshman Team

Neillsville native Jenny Lindner of UW-Milwaukee was named to the Horizon League All-Freshmen Team.Lindner stepped into a starting role immediately and is second on the team with her 10.7 point and 5.2 rebound-per-game averages. She has made 26 starts in 28 games and has scored in double-figures on 15 occasions, the most for a freshman in four seasons. She has a pair of double-doubles on the season and scored 25 points against Youngstown in February ? the third-highest scoring output for a freshman in school history.
Jenny was named Horizon League Freshman of the Week on three occasions and led the Panthers from the free throw line this season, sinking 82.6 percent of her attempts from the charity stripe.
Last night in the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament, Jenny recorded her third double-double of the season, finishing with 13 points and 10 boards as the Panthers downed Valapariso 77-64.
Next up, it's on to Green Bay Wednesday night for Horizon League Tournament Quarterfinals.
