Lindner Wins Freshman Of The Week Honor Again

Neillsville native, Jenny Lindner of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's basketball team was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.This marks the third time she has received the honor this season, tying for the league high.
Lindner posted impressive numbers for the Panthers in a pair of games, averaging 15.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg.
She came through with her second career double-double in the victory over Cleveland State with 20 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. In the last-second loss to UIC, she picked up 11 points and grabbed six boards for the Panthers.
