Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal gets 4 pins in a 42-27 win over Stanley-Boyd/Thorp/Owen-Withee in Cloverbelt Conference wrestling on Thursday night to take over 2nd place.NGL got pins from Kyle Gurney at 113, Derek Nielsen at 152, Andrew Buchanan at 195 and Nick Rueth at 220. Skylar Barth (106), Dylan Nielsen (120), Stetson Rueth (145) and Austin Pedersen also picked up wins for NGL.
Jesse Cwikla picked a pin for SB/Thorp/OW at 285, along with Sam Burzynski at 132, and Austin Burzynski at 182.
In a battle of D2 top ten wrestlers at 170, Ronny Ponick (SB/Thorp/OW) beat Jake Rueth (NGL) 7-3.
NGL improves to 5-1 in the Cloverbelt while SB/Thorp/OW falls to 4-2.
