Shilts Finishes Second In X Games

Daina Shilts of Neillsville, competing in the Special Olympics Unified Snowboarding Dual Giant Slalom competition at the X Games in Aspen, Colorado finished 2nd on Thursday.Daina was one of only 10 Special Olympic athletes to be chosen to participate.
Daina competed with an X Games athlete, Hannah Teter, and they finished 2nd with a time of 32.5. Hannah is also an Olympic Snowboard SuperPipe gold medalist.
The X Games continue through Sunday in Aspen.
