Lindner Receives Wisconsin Athletic Service Award

Neillsville Rec. Department director, Judy Lindner received the Wisconsin Athletic Service Award on Friday night.WADA Distinguished Service Awards are presented to a person who is recognized in the school and community as a supportive leader and who assists in maintaining athletics as an integral part of the total educational program. The recipient of this award has made a significant impact on the lives of student-athletes, athletic programs and or athletic facilities.
The award for the Neillsville area was given on Friday night during halftime of the Neillsville/Loyal girls basketball game to Lindner from Neillsville High School Athletic Director Mark Craig. It was given to Lindner for her years of service through the Neillsville Rec. Department and her endless hours of service in youth sports and the Booster Club at Neillsville Schools.
WCCN Radio and the Clark County Press have received the award in the past.
