Neillsville Boys Fall To Blair-Taylor

The Neillsville boys basketball team was beaten by Blair-Taylor on Saturday afternoon 62-40.

The Wildcats got off to a big lead after one quarter 19-7 and never looked back. River Kirchner led the Wildcats with 6 points in the quarter.

In the second quarter Neillsville outscored Blair-Taylor 9-8 and the Wildcats held an 11 point halftime lead.

The third quarter saw Blair-Taylor outscore the Warriors 13-12 to open up a 40-28 lead heading into the 4th.

The 4th quarter was all Blair-Taylor as they outscored Neillsville 22-12, led by Dillon Zinn with 7 points.

Neillsville's Jake Kunze led all scorers with 16 points. Zinn had 15 to lead 4 players in double figures for Blair-Taylor. Kolton Flick added 13 and River Kirchner and Brett Ladsten had 10.

Blair-Taylor improves to 8-3 while Neillsville falls to 6-5.
