Big 4th Quarter The Difference In O-W Win

Owen-Withee outscored Neillsville 17-8 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 55-46 win in Eastern Cloverbelt boys basketball on Thursday night.

The game was close throughout with Neillsville leading 16-12 after one and 27-23 at the half.

Owen-Withee outscored Neillsville 15-11 in the third, led by Kolton Kaduce's 8 points to tie the score at 38 heading into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth, Neillsville turned the ball over numerous times and most were unforced. The Hawks finished the game shooting 7 for 13 from the free throw line in the quarter.

Neillsville's Sam Neville led all scorers with 14, Michael Dux added 12. Owen-Withee was led by Kaduce with 13.

Owen-Withee improves to 5-2 in the ECC while Neillsville falls to 6-3.
