Marshfield Columbus Edges Neillsville

The Dons made five 3's in the first quarter to take a 20-15 lead.In the second quarter, the Dons outscored the Warriors 13-12 to take a 33-27 lead into the locker room.
The third quarter belonged to Neillsville as they outscored Columbus 13-8 to cut the lead down to one at 41-40 heading into the final frame.
The fourth quarter was a see - saw battle with Columbus coming out on top 18-17 to win 59-57.
The Warriors had four players in double figures led by Neal Matson with 18 points. Nathan Peterson had 12 and Michael Dux and Sam Neville added 10 apiece.
Neillsville falls to 6-2 in the ECC and 6-3 overall. Marshfield Columbus improved to 7-1 in conference play and 8-4 overall.
