2015 Youth National Championships and Junior Open Is Underway

The 2015 Youth National Championships and Junior Open at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno got underway yesterday and the first boxer from Wisconsin competed last night; Braulio Meraz from Milwaukee competed at 141lbs in the Youth Division vs Jonathan Jarabek from Colorado with Jarabek coming out with the win by Decision.Wisconsin boxers competing today are Cody Sullivan from Wisconsin Rapids Boxing Club and Anthony Lerma from Chubs Gym.
Jake Waltemate of Neillsville and Chayanne Carroll of Thorp will also compete this week. Jake on Wednesday evening and Chayanne on Friday.
