Schedule Is Set For Community Boxing Club Members

The schedule is set to go for the 2015 Youth National Championships and Junior Open. Competition began today at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno.In the Youth Female, 165 lbs Division, Chayanne Carroll of Thorp will box Iesha Kenney on Friday at 6pm. Jacob Waltemate of Neillsville is scheduled to box Wednesday at 6pm at 178 pounds in the Youth Male Division vs Anthony Dulworth.
372 boxers are registered to compete at this tournament.
Community Boxing Club coach, Dale Berger said that if they win this tournament they can be named to the 2015 national team which means international competition. They would also get ranked for other tournaments and possibly get invited to Olympic trials. It won't be easy though. Berger said they are kids from California, Texas and the east coast.
Both Jake and Chayanne have the 2014 national champion in their weight classes.
