Neillsville Has 3 Players In Double Figures In Win

Three players scored in double figures on Tuesday night as the Neillsville girls beat Gilman 54-11.The Warriors were in control from the start as the led 19-2 after one period and 32-4 at the half.
They then pitched a 6-0 shutout in the 3rd quarter to go up 38-4 heading into the final quarter.
In the 4th quarter the Warriors were led by sophomore Kayla Lis who had 6 points as they outscored Gilman 16-7 to make the final 54-11.
Lis along with Chelsea Opelt and Sydney Miller all had 10 points to lead Neillsville. Dani Pfieffer added 9.
Morgan Birkenholz had 4 points to lead Gilman.
The Warriors improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the ECC. They will be at Colby on Friday night.
