Sunday, December 7th, 2014 -- 6:29 PM

Freshman Jenny Lindner of Neillsville finished with a career high 15 points in UW-Milwaukee's heartbreaking 64-61 loss to Omaha Sunday afternoon at the Klotsche Center.

The Panthers overcame a six-point deficit in the final seconds of regulation only to fall on a three-pointer at the buzzer.

Lindner finished 4 for 9 from the field including 3 for 5 from three point land. She was also 4 for 4 from the freethrow line. She also grabbed 3 rebounds to go along with a couple of assists.

For the game, Milwaukee was held to 33.9 percent shooting (19-of-56) from the floor while Omaha finished at 40.4 percent (21-of-52). Points in the paint (28-22) and the rebound battle (38-36) both went to Omaha.

Up next, the team heads to the UWM Panther Arena to welcome Eastern Illinois for a midweek battle. Tip time is set for noon as part of a daylong women's/men's doubleheader downtown.
