Neillsville Grads In Action On Saturday

UW-Milwaukee freshman Jenny Lindner and UW-Eau Claire sophomore Alleah Voigt, both from Neillsville, were in action on Saturday in women's college basketball.Lindner had 3 points, 3 rebounds snd a couple of assists in 20 minutes of play for the Panthers in their 60-50 loss to Bowling Green. Jenny hit a big three to give UWM back the lead at 40-38, but the 17-3 run that the Falcons went on overall gave them a 45-40 advantage and they held on from there.
Voigt played in 11 minutes of the Blugolds 62-57 loss to Winona St. on Saturday. Alleah was 2 for 2 from the freethrow line and also pulled down 4 boards.
UW-Eau Claire (2-2) will host St. Norbert on Tuesday night while UW-Milwaukee (1-2) is at Marquette on Wednesday night.
