Lindner Has 11 Points In UW-Milwaukee Win

Monday, November 10th, 2014 -- 1:40 PM

Freshman Jenny Lindner of Neillsville had 11 points off the bench in an 87-48 UW-Milwaukee win over SW Minnesota State in an exhibition contest on Sunday.

Jenny was 4 for 9 from the field and 2 for 3 from the freethrow line in her 22 minutes of action. She was one of 5 players for the Panthers to score in double figures.

Milwaukee head coach Kyle Rechlicz said. "We had a lot of people step up in significant ways and a lot of people that haven't been seen in Panther jerseys. I think our youngsters are coming along strong and we just have to continue to get them minutes as much as we can."

The regular-season is up next, with the Panthers heading to North Dakota for a two-game road trip. The opener is set for November 16, with a 2 p.m. tip-off at North Dakota State.
