Marathon Advances To D3 Title Game

The Marathon Raider girls volleyball team has advanced to the Division 3 State Championship after a 3-1 win over Cameron on Friday afternoon.Marathon won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-9 before the Comets won set three 20-25. The Raiders came back and won the fourth set 28-26 to win the match 3-1.
In the other semi-final it was Waterloo sweeping Howards Grove 3-0.
Marathon (32-3) will now go against Waterloo (36-4) in the Division 3 State Championship on Saturday morning at 11:30.
