Opelt Ranked 10th In Nation At 133 Pounds

Cornell College of Iowa sophomore, Phillip Opelt of Neillsville, is ranked 10th at 133 pounds in the NWCA Division III rankings.Opelt finished 1-2 in his NCAA debut at 133 pounds at the NCAA Division III Championships last year. He placed third at regionals and went 23-14 during his freshman campaign.
Opelt was also a National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American last year.
Cornell College will get their season under way on Nov. 11th when they host Augustana College.
