Girls Sectional Cross Country Results

The WIAA Girls Sectional Cross Country Meets were held on Friday and Saturday.Friday at the Athens Sectional, the teams from Phillips and Stratford advance to the State Meet in Wisconsin Rapids next week.
Stratford team members include: Johnelle Miner (20:45), Kaylee Hollatz (20:57), Courtney Krall (22:51), Sammy Griesbach (23:00), Gabby Leonhard (23:41), Samantha Kaiser (24:58 ), and Bailey Bohman (26:30).
Also qualifying for the state meet were the top 5 individuals from the non-qualifying teams. Local athletes include: Anna Buchberger, Marathon (20:15.9), Autumn Wickman, Athens (20:33.2), Nadia King, Spencer (21:00.4), Alysha Stieber, Marathon (21:07.4) and Kali Karl, Auburndale (21:15.0).
Saturday at the Black River Falls Sectional, Shannon Sorbo, Nekoosa/Port Edwards (20:59.47) and Mickealla Stenulson, Black River Falls (21:33.05) advance to state as individuals.
