Neillsville Volleyball Goes 3-1 In Loyal

The Neillsville girl's volleyball finished 3-1 at the Loyal Tournament on Saturday...Neillsville started off beating Alma Center Lincoln 25-13, 25-17. They then beat Loyal 25-23, 20-25, 15-7. Head coach Tammy Matson said, "A habit that we have been in this year is not playing well in the mornings and we broke that habit this weekend. We came out ready to play and moving on the court."
Neillsville's only loss on the day came to Athens 21-25, 16-25. Coach Matson said "They run a quick offense and it threw us off."
The Warriors then downed Colby 25-16, 25-18. "Overall the day was a successful day.", said Matson, " Hopefully we can continue to play as a team and keep having fun on the court. We will have a tough game against Altoona on Tuesday with conference playoffs." Tuesday is also Senior Night for the girl's volleyball team.
