Osseo-Fairchild Girls Heading To State

The Osseo-Fairchild girl's golf team finished second on Tuesday at the Wisconsin Dells Sectional and they will now head to the 2014 WIAA State Girls Golf Tournament next Monday and Tuesday at University Ridge in Madison.The Thunder finished with a team score of 380 which was second to Edgewood's score of 338. The top 2 teams in each Sectional advanced to State.
Individually for Osseo-Fairchild, Amanda Pederson finished 4th shooting an 85, Mckenzie Wilson shot an 87 to finish 6th, Aly Wedward shot a 92 to tie for 8th place, also Grace Eide shot a 116 and Lily Bohlinger shot a 117.
The Division 2 field at State will consist of Osseo-Fairchild, Edgewood Sacred Heart, Fox Valley Lutheran, Osceola, Spooner and The Prairie School.
The teams will have a practice round on Sunday and then play 18 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
