Big Rushing Games In H.S. Football Last Friday

Some area backs had big games last Friday and a new single game rushing record was set in high school football...

Nathan Dupee of Pittsville had 263 yards on 21 carries and 3 touchdowns in the Panther's 46-36 win over Altoona.

In a game featuring two big performances, Eli Powell of Alma Center Lincoln had a huge night with 242 yards rushing on 24 carries and 6 touchdowns as Alma Center Lincoln downed Augusta 41-37.
Meanwhile, Augusta's Brandon Kimball also had 242 yards rushing on 21 carries and 4 touchdowns in the loss.

Wautoma running Nathaniel Loging set a new state single game rushing record when he carried the ball 31 times for 524 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 62-7 win over Wisconsin Dells last Friday. The previous mark was set in 2005 by Milwaukee Marshall's Donte Steward, as he rolled up 465 yards.
