The Neillsville Warrior defense played well but three big pass plays spelled the difference in a 21-13 loss to Osseo-Fairchild on Friday night. The Thunder got on the scoreboard first on a 28 yard pass play from Kyler Hagen to Jake Prudlick, the extra point was good and it was 7-0.
On Neillsville's next possession they got a 68 yard run from Sam Neville to put them on the Osseo-Fairchild three yard line and then Mason Barth scored on a 3 yard quarterback sneak to make the score 7-7 after one.

Neillsville's defense again played well for most of the third quarter until with :11 left, Hagen hooked up with Prudlick again, this time from 52 yards out making the score 21-7 heading into the final quarter.
In the final frame, the Warriors took advantage of a Nolan Matson interception and got on the scoreboard on a 3 yard run from Derek Krejci. The extra point was blocked and it was 21-13.
Neillsville held Osseo-Fairchild on their next drive forcing a punt but then Neillsville threw an interception on their drive and the Thunder ran out the clock for the win.
Sam Neville led all rushers with 81 yards on just 4 carries, and Krejci added 75 yards on 13 carries.
Hagen finished 15 of 21 for 194 yards with 3 tds and 2 ints.
