Area Football Players Have Big Games In Week 5

Bryce Niemi of Owen-Withee and James Copenhaver of Gilman rushed for over 200 yards in the teams wins last Friday night.Niemi ran for 282 yards on 33 carries and 3 touchdowns in Owen-Withee's 38-14 victory over Abbotsford.
Copenhaver rushed for 248 yards on 35 carries and 3 touchdowns to lead Gilman to a 30-14 Cloverwood win over Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.
In the Dairyland Conference, Brandon Kimball of Augusta also ran for over 200 yards as he racked up 222 yards on 29 carries and 3 touchdowns in the Beavers 28-20 loss to Eleva-Strum.
