Youth Soccer And Flag Football Programs To Begin

The Neillsville Recreation Department will once again be offering a youth fall soccer program and youth flag football program on Saturday mornings beginning in September.The youth fall soccer program on Saturday mornings begins on September 6th. Children in grades kindergarten through 6th will meet from 9:00 to 10:30 at the school practice football field. No previous soccer experience is necessary to participate. Fee is $6 per child which is payable at the first practice. Registration forms can be picked up in the Middle School office or forms will be available at the first practice. The Recreation Department is in need of individuals to help coach on Saturday mornings, both older youth and adults. The youth flag football league is for boys and girls in 2nd - 7th grades. Play will be held on Saturday mornings at the Neillsville schools. Members of the Neillsville High School football team will serve as coaches. Games will be begin on September 13th. Registration forms are available at the Rec. Dept. or at the Middle School offices. Fee is $8 per player (or $10 for non-residents of the Nsv. School District).
***Pre-registration is necessary and must be completed by Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 4:00. If you cannot make it to the Rec. Dept. in person, please call the Rec. Dept. to verbally register your child.
