The WIAA Board of Control is meeting today in Stevens Point and it has been a busy voting day...By a vote of 7-3, the WIAA Board of Control voted against seeding the wrestling team state tournament and the hockey state tournament. Also 15 minute warmup periods for basketball was voted down 10-0. Associate Director, Deb Hauser said that basketball coaches wanted it at first, then changed their mind.
The Board voted to expand Grade 9 max games from 20 to 22 by vote of 8-2. They also defeated a measure that would make half-bracket seeding standard w/ no vote to change in basketball.
