Marshfield's Varsho Top Senior Infielder/Catcher

Marshfield's Daulton Varsho has been selected as the top senior Infielder/Catcher as part of the WSN senior Baseball Awards.Varsho is a First Team All-State catcher this year. He was the Wisconsin Valley Player of the Year, hitting .462 with 6 home runs, 31 RBI, 35 runs scored, and 17 stolen bases.
He's a four-year varsity starter for the Tigers, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference as a freshman, Second Team recognition as a sophomore, and unanimous First Team laurels as both a junior and senior.
He will play at UW-Milwaukee next season. His father Gary played in the Major Leagues and has spent many years as a coach and scout.
