Heck Helps Team Wisconsin Win Gold

Desiree Heck of Neillsville was a member of the Team Wisconsin 2 team that took first in the Mixed Team Bowling Event at the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games in New Jersey on Thursday.Desiree said on Friday morning that she was so happy she was almost in tears after receiving the gold medal. She also won a silver medal in singles competition and placed 4th in the Mixed Doubles event.
Congratulations to Desiree on her accomplishments at the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games. She said that she would be back in Neillsville sometime on Sunday.
