Grottke Sets Record In Shot Put

Senior Matt Grottke of the Neillsville/Granton track team has broken his own record in the shot put again.At Bangor on Tuesday, Grottke broke his own shot put record with a put of 53'11". Grottke also finished 2nd in the discus throw and 2nd in the high jump.
Other top finishers from Neillsville/Granton on Tuesday at Bangor, were Wendy Barth who took 1st in the shot put and 1st in discus and Jacob Walter who finished 3rd in the long jump, 2nd in the 400M dash, and 5th in the 200M dash.
As a team, the boys took 5th out of 16 teams while the girls finished 10th out of 17 teams.
