4 Neillsville Youth At Wisconsin Optimist Club, "Tri-Star" Basketball

Four students from Neillsville competed on April 19th in the Wisconsin Optimist Club, "Tri-Star" Basketball state competition in Fond du Lac.These individuals earned the chance to compete in the prestigious event by finishing in first place in the local contest held in March at the Fieldhouse. Over 100 individuals from around Wisconsin competed in shooting, dribbling and passing events. The local contingent represented the Neillsville Optimist Club very successfully.
Paige Voigt, (daughter of Tim & Sue) placed fourth in the 8 year old competition, while future standouts at Neillsville High School, Bianca Fischer, age 11 (daughter of Jessie & Brian) and Riley Voigt, age 12 (daughter of Tim & Sue) each placed second in their age brackets. Also participating but finding the competition pretty tough was Parker Voigt (son of Tim & Sue).
The Optimist Club would like to congratulate all the individuals who represented Neillsville in such a positive manner.
