Matson's 3 Run Homer Powers Neillsville Win

Neal Matson crushed a 3-run homer over the left center field fence in the 1st inning to lead Neillsville to a 10-0 win in 5 innings over Colby on Thursday.Matson added a triple and finished with 4 RBI's. Devon Opelt finished 3 for 3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Nathan Peterson was 2 for 3 and Jake Kunze was 2 for 2 with an RBI and a run scored. The Warriors finished with 10 hits as a team.
Matson went the distance on the mound, going 5 innings giving up 3 hits while striking out 6 and walking 2.
Neillsville (4-0, 3-0) will be at Augusta on Tuesday.
