Four In Final Fours For WIAC

The WIAC has advanced a team to each of the NCAA Division III Final Fours to be contested this coming weekend.This unprecedented feat comes on the heals of the WIAC becoming the first Division III conference to capture '100' NCAA national championship this past weekend.
The UW-Whitewater men's basketball team is pitted against Illinois Wesleyan University in a semifinal game on Friday (5 p.m. CST) in Salem, Va. The winner will advance to Saturday's championship game which will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network beginning at 4:30 p.m. CST.
The UW-Whitewater women's basketball team will match-up with Whitman College (Wash.) in a semifinal game beginning at 7 p.m. CST on Friday in Stevens Point with the winner advancing to Saturday's championship game . Both the third-place and championship contests will also be held in Stevens Point.
In women's ice hockey, UW-River Falls will face-off against Norwich University (Vt.) in a semifinal game on Friday night beginning at 6 p.m. CST in Plattsburgh, N.Y. The winner will advance to play in Saturday's championship game .
The UW-Stevens Point men's ice hockey team will take on State University of New York-Oswego in a semifinal game in Lewiston, Me., on Friday with a 6:30 p.m. CST start time.
