Murphy Tops Scoring Record At River Falls

Senior Luke Murphy has become the all-time leading scorer in River Falls High School boys basketball history.Murphy, who is the grandson of Diane Murphy of Neillsville, scored 27 points in a 64-47 victory over Eau Claire North on Tuesday night to become the all-time leading scorer in school history in just 3 years.
Murphy now has 1,329 points in his career and the 6'3" wing is averaging just over 26 points a game this season. He has the highest point total for a single game in the state this year when he scored 51 vs. Chippewa Falls on Feb. 6th.
Luke, the son of Neillsville alumnus Pat Murphy, has committed to NCAA Division III Whitewater next season.
