Wisconsin Men Fall To No. 9 In AP Poll

After back-to-back Big Ten losses, the Wisconsin Badgers fell 6 spots in this week's AP Men's Basketball Poll from No. 3 to No. 9.Arizona and Syracuse are the top two teams for a seventh straight week.
Michigan State moved up one place to third while Villanova jumped two spots to fourth. Wichita State, at 19-0 the only other unbeaten in Division I, stayed fifth and was followed by Florida, San Diego State, Kansas, Wisconsin and Iowa.
Iowa is in the top 10 for the first time since the poll of Jan. 1, 2002, when the Hawkeyes were ranked ninth.
Despite that 16-0 start to the season, the Badgers find themselves in a 4th-place tie in the Big Ten with a 3-2 conference record.. Wisconsin will travel to Minnesota and Purdue this week.
