Lindner Named Athlete Of The Month

Neillsville senior Jenny Lindner was named MarshfieldAreaSports.com December High School Athlete of the Month.Lindner received 2,415 of the nearly 4,400 votes cast to win the award.
A University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee recruit, Jenny is the top scorer on a Warriors? team that is 9-0 overall and has a 6-0 record in the Cloverbelt East. She averaged 16.7 points, 6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.5 steals per game in eight games in December for Neillsville.
Other nominees for the December award were Luke Zuiker of Marshfield boys basketball, Emily Kind of Marathon girls basketball, Albert Goerlitz of Owen-Withee boys basketball and Anthony Gliniecki of Stratford wrestling.
An Athlete of the Year award will be chosen by WDLB-WOSQ Radio and MarshfieldAreaSports.com staff in June. Winners of the monthly award, and the Athlete of the Year, will be presented an award from Burt Awards.
