Neillsville Girls Improve to 9-0

The Neillsville girls basketball team improved to 9-0 and won their 58th in a row in ECC play, downing Greenwood Friday night 52-19.The Warriors led 11-8 after one quarter and then dominated the 2nd quarter outscoring Greenwood 17-1 to take a 28-9 lead into the locker room.
In the second half Neillsville outscored the Indians 24-10 to pick up their 9th win of the season.
Jenny Lindner led the Warriors with 15 points, Katelyn Crothers added 10.
Taylor Opelt led Greenwood with 7 points.
