Neillsville Dominates Overtime To Beat Colby

The Neillsville boys basketball team outscored Colby 14-2 in overtime to win 67-55 on Friday night.The Hornets led 23-22 at halftime and leading scorer, Matt Grottke of the Warriors only had 4 points. But things changed in the second half.
Grottke scored 22 second half points and Neillsville outscored Colby 45-32 in the second half and overtime to get the win. Grottke finished with a game high 26 points, Michael Dux added 17 for Neillsville and Neal Matson had 10 points.
Colby had four players in double figures led by Josh Rahm with 14 pts and Hunter Busse with 12.
Neillsville improves to 5-2 in the ECC while Colby falls to 4-3.
