Opelt Takes 3rd At Citrus Invitational

Cornell College freshman, Phil Opelt of Neillsville took 3rd at 133 pounds at the Citrus Invitational in Florida.

In the semi-final match, Phil faced No. 1 seed Ryan Diehl of Liberty and lost 15-0. Opelt said that Diehl was the best wrestler he had ever faced.

Opelt won his next match 4-2 and then picked up a first period pin in the 3rd place match.
